Abergele Hospital's dedicated, standalone Orthopaedic unit provides care for patients with a whole variety of musculoskeletal needs - meaning good access is critical.

Because the polymer roofing system is cold-applied, suitable for most substrates and faster to install than most other systems, disruption and mess are minimal. With most of our roofs, life can carry on as normal below - giving a particular advantage for organisations with continuous access needs, including hospitals and many businesses.

Abergele Orthopaedic Hospital in Conwy (LL22) needed as little disruption and interruption as possible, not just in terms of obstacles from the works, but also because noise can cause problems during medical operations, for example where equipment uses sound-based monitors. The roofing works included the theatre area, so this was a significant consideration.

We're very pleased to say the work was completed quickly, with the Senior Estates Officer at Abergele Hospital (part of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board) writing afterwards to thank us personally for the speed and ease of working with us.

Follwowing works, scaffolding was removed in installments over several days, saving the theatre for the weekend to avoid noise disruption affecting operations.
