Lead roof alternative at Langport Veterinary Centre, Somerset

This veterinary centre in Langport, Somerset shows clearly the effect of stolen lead roofing (as well as how easily people can find themselves the victims of lead roof theft). As you can see, the lead covering the porch roof was within arm's reach and was stolen in late 2010. The striping you can see on the porch canopy is all that was left - a few rows of wooden boards.

Colindale's United Reformed Church in Northwest London (NW9) contacted us with an enquiry about an urgent job on their flooded single storey roof. They attached drawings, notes, and pictures, giving us a thorough idea of the problem, and added that channels would need to be formed in the exiting levelling screed to aid drainage. They also told us new pans and connections would be required at the two drainage points. They were particularly impressed by the guarantee we are able to offer.

Flat roof garden in Bristol

This client was selling his apartment, but the purchaser's presale surveyor had picked up that the tired atrium and leaking flat roof below the promenade slabs were reaching the end of their life span, jeopardising the sale.

We removed the slabs that were already there, allowing the substrate (the material beneath the slabs) to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared.
