Hereford Warm Roof Build

This detached building in Hereford required a new warm roof (for more on warm roofing click here) to comply with building regulations and create a cosy environment below. The photographs show the overall building as well as the joists ready for insulation.

Porcelain Tile Installation over Insulated Terrace Roof Manchester

This balcony terrace roof in Manchester, accessed from sliding doors, required tapered warm-roof insulation and porcelain tile topping to bring it up to the level of the doors. The porcelain tiles needed sturdy, durable support from below whilst leaving sufficient space for insulation. As the photo shows, this was achieved using a system of raised steel supports, padded from below to avoid damage to the polymer roofing below, and clips to hold the tiles firmly in place.

Terrace in Roof in Essex

This small terrace area inside a roofspace in Essex, was quite straightforward for the polymer system despite the difficulties of uneven shape space and access. As you can see from the photo, the level, jointless and seamless finish is "perfect forming" even around curves and in tight spaces.

As with all our polymer roofs, this terrace room-in-a-roof was completely mechanically cured within 72 hrs, waterproof, weatherproof and safe to walk in within just a few hours, and is guaranteed to last.

Electrical Room Roof in Essex

This small flat roof on an electrical room in rural Essex, was straightforward for the polymer system despite its small size and the heatwave at the time! As you can see from the photos, the polymer system's built-in flexibility creates a level, jointless and seamless finish that is "perfect forming" around details even at small scale.

As with all our polymer roofs, domestic and commercial, this electrical room roof was fully mechanically cured within 72 hrs, waterproof, UV proof and safe to walk in within a few hours, and is guaranteed to last.

Essex Shop Roof

This large polymer flat roof on commercial shop premises in Essex, posed no problem for the polymer system despite its size and prominent upstands and walls. As you can see from the photo the polymer system's built-in flexibility creates a level, jointless and seamless finish that is "perfect forming" around details.

As with all our polymer roofs, domestic and commercial, this shop roof was fully mechanically cured within 72 hrs, waterproof, UV proof and safe to walk in within a few hours, and is guaranteed to last.

School Outbuilding Essex

This polymer flat roof on a school outbuilding roof in Essex, was relatively straightforward despite overhanging trees and the (minor) central ventilation pipe. As you can see from first photo the underlying surface had numerous gaps and uneven points, with the later photographs demonstrating how well the polymer system's inherent flexibility levels all of this out, creating a perfect jointless and seamless finish.

Essex Polymer Roof Extension

This new roof extension on a roof in Brentwood, Essex, was relatively straightforward despite the prominent central skylight and the fact it adjoins the main roof. The polymer system's inherent flexibility means details and joins are no problem.

As the photo shows, the finished roof is jointless and seamless, and "perfect forming" around the central skylight. It was also fully mechanically cured within 72 hrs, fully waterproof and weatherproof within a few hours, and is guaranteed to last.

Lead Alternative for Stolen Leadwork, Prince's Mead School, Winchester

Sadly, schools are all-too-common victims of metal roof theft, especially lead - see this one in Skelmersdale and this one in Swindon, the latter of which resulted in the collapse of three classroom roofs, fortunately without any injuries. These articles highlight both the scale of the problem and the dangers metal theft can pose. With schools, it is most often children who are at risk.

Bude Cold Roof to Warm Roof Conversion

This building in Bude in North Cornwall needed its roof converted from Cold Roof to Warm Roof. This was however a trickier than usual job as the existing roof needed to remain entirely in situ and there was a very large area requiring insulation.

The photos above show the state the roof was in prior to work commencing, with the last 4 pictures showing the completed installation.

Copper Alternative Trailer Coating in Cobham, Surrey

One of our more unusual requests!

This one was for a domed traditional style trailer roof/outer near Woking in Cobham, Surrey, which the owner wished to have coated using our verdi green copper-alternative system. The photographs show a step-by-step breakdown of the entire process from start to finish.
