Balconies and Roof Gardens

Whether you're looking for a new balcony, walkway or roof terrace, or for long-lasting repairs to one you already have - the polymer system is jointless, seamless, waterproof, weatherproof, UV-resistant, fireproof AND doesn't crack or split. That means no water ingress, even after it's been in place for years. Its unique properties maximise flexibility so, whatever the size, shape or substrate of your balcony, we can access it and get you the perfect finish - complete with tough topcoat and anti-skid grit in the quartz colour you choose.

Terrace in Roof fully level and seamless despite the difficulties of the space

This small terrace area inside a roofspace in Essex, was quite straightforward for the polymer system despite the difficulties of uneven shape space and access. As you can see from the photo, the level, jointless and seamless finish is "perfect forming" even around curves and in tight spaces.

As with all our polymer roofs, this terrace room-in-a-roof was completely mechanically cured within 72 hrs, waterproof, weatherproof and safe to…

The Existing GRP Roof looked tired and worn

The GRP fibreglass on this adjoined flat roof near Aberystwyth in West Wales was looking tired and patchy, and would have needed replacing entirely before long had the owners not decided upon a preemptive refurb.

As the pictures show, polymer overcoating the existing roof was straightforward - flat roofs are our speciality (though we work equally well with pitched & highly detailed roofs). The new system bonds fully to the GRP…

The finished balcony

This balcony terrace area in the village of Waunfawr, a little to the north-east of Aberystwyth, was in need of refurbishment. Balconies tend to degrade faster than many other areas of roof owing not only to the fact they get walked on more often but also because they are flat, which can result in pooling of water and damp. Because of this, a good surface is crucial - ideally something not only weatherproof and waterproof but fireproof, anti-…

Pooling at the most used end of the terrace was obvious

This balcony terrace roof in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales was pooling so much water it had become dangerous, especially for access to the outdoor steps coming down off it. As well as being year-round slip hazards, ponding and pooling result in increased weight pressure on the roof and hugely increase the risk of damp and water ingress to whatever is below.

The polymer system is quick to install, jointless and seamless…

There was a clear split in the existing leadwork at this primary school

Bronnant or Bronant Primary School located between Aberystwyth and Tregaron in Ceredigion. A section of lead work sandwiched awkwardly between various roofs had split, exposing the substrate to the elements. We have worked on many schools around Ceredigion, thanks to the polymer system's uniquely low-impact process as well as the speed of installation. The system causes so little disruption that activities can usually be continued in the…

The concrete walkway in the castle grounds at Aberystwyth

Aberystwyth Castle is a historically important, thirteenth century Grade 1 Listed Building on the West Wales coast. A combination of tourist footfall and its windy, exposed position at the sea front gives it much to stand up to, throughout its large grounds.

The concrete walkway, located within the area of the castle grounds closest to the sea, was in a bad way, with a large and obvious chunk of weaker surfacing apparent (see photos)…
