Polymer Roof Refurb in Talybont, Ceredigion

This wraparound roof in Talybont in Ceredigion, West Wales, was badly leaking and in desperate need of repair and refurbishment. Water was pooling everywhere, the existing surface was ripped, lifting and leaking, and moss had formed in clumps over much of the surface.

Despite this, the underlying roof was still sound and able to be reused!

Troon Garage Flat Roof Installation, Ayrshire

This row of eight garages in Troon, South Ayrshire (less than 40 miles west of Glasgow), was in need of a roof, quickly.

The area, as can be seen from the photograph, was relatively large, around 160m2, and required a full flat roof system. Because of continuity of work, the contractor needed a quick turnaround and dry storage needed to be preserved.

Adaptable flashings for non-standard skylight at Aberystwyth University

Knowing the polymer system's flexibility and our high standard of work, Aberystwyth University in West Wales asked us to solve a tricky skylight issue...

Flashings and kerb upstands tend to be manufactured to particular sizes, meaning that non-standard skylights made to special size requirements can often present a challenge.

Ceredigion Training Centre in Llanbadarn, Aberystwyth, West Wales

The roof of the Ceredigion Training Centre at Llanbadarn on the outskirts of Aberystwyth was in dire need of proper insulation. The existing roof did not conform to government U-values and the cold roof was costing the training centre money in heating.

We worked with the existing mastic asphalt roof, saving time, money and resources. The entire area was cleaned, with increased ply fascias fitted in preparation for the roof to receive the tapered insulation - a thickly insulated power deck designed for foot traffic.

Balcony Waterproofing Test

Two balconies demonstrate the outstanding waterproofing properties of the polymer balcony system. The system is guaranteed 100% waterproof over all areas of application. Drainage channels are of course then installed so that water can drain away!

New Polymer Flat Roof in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

This flat roof in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan was in need of refurbishment as its existing single ply membrane was leaking. With the high winds and rain of Autumn and Winter 2015, this was causing problems for the owners, who needed to find a lasting solution quickly.

We over-coated the roof with a jointless, seamless liquid membrane system which would wholly prevent any further leakage or water ingress, saving electro testing, as well as ensuring the roof would stay leak-free for at least another 20 years.

Stratford-upon-Avon, Walk-on Warm Roof

This building at Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire required a warm roof with a u value of .13 in order to compensate for an unusually large surface area of glass below (from patio doors & other glass elavations).

The system insulation was 220mm thick, fully adhered, and did not need an extra layer of ply decking to sandwich the insulation, as the insulation we used is specially manufactured to be walked on for limited access without damage.

New Warm Roof for Home in Comins Coch, Aberystwyth

This onetime-garage flat roof in Comins Coch a mile outside Aberystwyth in West Wales needed to conform to strict U value standards as it was being remodelled as a family kitchen and would be attached to the main property, thus making it a warm roof as well as a flat roof.

Liquid Roof in Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire

We were contacted by another roofing contractor about this semi-detached roof in Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. At one end, the fibreglass roof was leaking and at the adjacent gable end, the felt roof was leaking.

The two sections, 18m2 and 25m2 needed slightly different treatment. The 25m2 area already held mineral capsheet but was pooling water on top of that, which was seeping through the cracked material. This roof area simply needed overlaying with Liquid Plastic, rendering it jointless, seamless, watertight and weatherproof.

Belle Vue Hotel in Aberystwyth

The popular 36 room Belle Vue Hotel in Aberystwyth contacted us in desperate need of a new roof for a rear-facing area of the hotel. The existing mastic asphalt roof was blistered and leaking, requiring full re-waterproofing and weatherproofing, all while the hotel remained operational.
